Privacy Policy

Why there's very little to disclose, and what we do disclose anyway.

Last updated: June 2026

Summary

4QRCodeOnline ("we", "our", "us") doesn't ask you to sign up, doesn't run a database, and never sees the content of the codes you generate — including WiFi passwords or contact details. The only outside service involved in running this free site is advertising through Google AdSense, which sets its own cookies. This page explains exactly what that means, and how it lines up with the GDPR (EU), CCPA (California) and LGPD (Brazil).

In short: the text, links, WiFi credentials or contact details you type are processed only in your own browser session. We never receive them and have nothing to hand over even if asked, because nothing ever reaches us.

This policy applies to 4QRCodeOnline.com, one of a family of independent tools published under 4Utilities:

4utilities.org 4Calculator.com 4Pomodoro.com 4Timer Online.com 4PDFOnline.com 4ImageTools.com 4PaintWeb.com 4FinanceCalculator.com 4Notepad.com 4Texts.com 4SheetX.com 4WordToPDF.com

1. What We Collect

  • No account, login, or sign-up is required anywhere on this site.
  • We don't ask for your name, email address, or any contact detail through the tool itself.
  • We run no analytics, no tracking pixels, and keep no server-side record of what you generate.
  • If you choose to email us through the Contact page, you decide what to share — that's sent voluntarily by you, not collected by us.

2. How Your QR Codes Are Made

  • Every QR code is built in your browser using JavaScript. The data you enter — a URL, WiFi credentials, contact details, an email — is encoded directly into the pattern on your device.
  • Nothing you type is sent to a server. We have no upload step, anywhere, for any reason.
  • Closing or refreshing the tab clears the form unless you've downloaded the code first. We keep no copy on our side.
  • When you download a PNG or SVG, the file is built and saved locally by your own browser.

3. Cookies & Advertising

This site is free to use because it carries advertising through Google AdSense. To serve and measure those ads, Google and its partners use cookies. Specifically:

  • Google may use cookies to show ads based on your past visits to this and other sites.
  • This lets Google and its partners serve ads based on your activity across the web, not only on 4QRCodeOnline.
  • You can turn off personalized ads at Google Ads Settings, and opt out of some other vendors at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu (EU visitors).
  • Where local law requires it (the EU/EEA, the UK, and Brazil among them), Google's own consent prompt asks permission before using cookies for personalized ads, and that choice can be changed at any time.

For more on this, see how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

4. Third-Party Services

A couple of outside services help deliver this page, though neither one ever sees the data encoded into your QR codes:

  • Google AdSense — the advertising described above, governed by Google's own privacy policy.
  • Google Fonts — the typefaces on this page load from Google's font servers, so Google sees that request (and your IP address).
  • cdnjs (Cloudflare) — the QR-generation library loads from the cdnjs content-delivery network. cdnjs receives a standard request for that library file, but never your data.

We don't sell or share any personal data with anyone, mainly because we don't collect any to begin with.

5. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA / LGPD)

If you're in a region covered by the GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, or a similar law, you typically have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because we don't keep accounts or a database, in practice most of that comes down to the advertising cookies described above, which you can manage through the opt-out links in section 3 or your browser's own settings. For anything else, reach us at 4utilities.org@gmail.com.

6. Children's Privacy

4QRCodeOnline is meant for a general audience and isn't directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age where you live). We don't knowingly collect information from children, in keeping with the rest of this policy.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this policy needs updating — for a new feature or a change in the law — we'll update the date at the top of this page to reflect it.
